Thankfully — for us and for our customers — we don’t often get called to do emergency response work. But it’s nice to know that if you need us, we’re here to help you assess an emergency situation before it gets out of hand.
That’s right: We maintain a 24-hour on-call line where we can be reached whenever a wastewater or storm water situation arises that’s out of your control. Because, let’s face it, emergencies never happen at an opportune time.
Any circumstance related to water conveyance systems that threatens to shut down your home or business, just pick up the phone and call our emergency number at (916) 749-8895, and we’ll be on our way to your relief:
Our quick response can save your business untold losses in productivity stoppages. Best of all, we’ll usually be able to diagnose your problem over the phone, and maybe save you the price of the emergency call. 95% of the time, what may appear to be an emergency really can wait until the next day for us to arrive and fix the problem. But if you really do need us right now, we’ll be there.
APS Environmental boasts a fleet of efficient pumper trucks with a variety of capabilities. Our heavy duty industrial Vac-Con combination sewer tanker and Berringer wet/dry vacuum truck are designed to clean up and recover a full spectrum of materials:
These DOT-certified vacuum loaders handle non-hazardous materials. From waste removal to product recovery, these trucks are capable of moving both wet and dry product from light dust to gravel. Long-distance suction lines allow the vacuum loader to reach remote, contoured or inaccessible locations, even underwater. We can clean out
Whatever your material removal needs, call the professionals at APS Environmental. We can help you choose the quickest, most cost-effective method from among our many options. And we’ll work with you to plan our work around your production schedule, causing as little disruption as possible.
APS Environmental, Inc. is equipped with a fleet capable of hauling large volumes of wastewater. Our Vac-Con and Keith Huber combination vacuum trucks can remove sludge and sediment from the bottom of the tank, as well. All our trucks carry water blasting equipment capable of producing 2,500-4,000 psi blasts, which make short work of cleaning the sides of tanks.
Our technicians are confined space certified, enabling them to enter the tank safely. There, they pressure-wash its interior walls to remove corrosion and heavy scale buildup that reduces the tank’s design capacity and ultimately may shorten the service life of the tank.
So if you find that your tanks are either full, not flowing properly or you’ve just finished with a storage job and they need to be cleaned before the next usage, give us a call. We’ll have them as clean as possible and back online in no time.
With so much of water conveyance systems located underground, it’s often difficult or impossible to access lift stations, older manholes, long or small-diameter pipes and other parts of their infrastructure to visually inspect these system elements. When that happens, we use remote cameras, either mounted on handheld push rods, or carried along on a remote-controlled, wheeled tractor or other carrier, into the pipe or other asset where a human can’t go.
to determine conditions inside the pipe.
or to map infrastructure layout. This helps us understand where your system assets are located, and how best to access them for cleaning, repair or replacement.
One of the limitations imposed on water system technicians is that much of the infrastructure that must be worked on is located in what’s referred to as confined spaces. To fit this definition, the space must exhibit three characteristics:
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) estimates that 1.6 million people enter confined spaces annually. But not all of them are doing so with the proper safety equipment, site preparation and precautions. It’s estimated that if everyone used this type of compliance, American businesses could annually avoid
At APS Environmental, we care deeply about solving our customers’ problems, and offer them cutting-edge service, innovation in ideas and their implementation, and quality workmanship. However, safety is – and must be – our Number One priority. The well-being of our staff and their families is extremely important to us. Without them feeling protected and cared for, they wouldn’t be able to concentrate on the best way to tackle your issues.
So we make sure they have everything they need to successfully complete your confined space entry project:

By preventing premature wear on parts, it can extend the life of your systems elements, and help prevent the need for emergency calls. Removal of heavy substance buildup returns your water pipes to their designed volume capacity, increasing efficiency and productivity.
We specialize in pipeline cleaning using Hydro Jet systems operating at 4,000 psi on pipes up to 42 inches in diameter. These high-pressure blasts of water can break through the toughest blockages, and remove years of built-up debris. Jetters can get the job done faster than a mechanical flail or foaming agents, returning your system to optimal operation quickly and with less down time.
